Modular methanol plants ranging from 25 to 100 tons per day can be supplied using Hydro-Chem front-end hydrogen plant technology, followed by synthesis loop and distillation unit. These plants can be installed on offshore platforms and in remote regions with adverse climactic conditions.
Modular carbon monoxide plants can be supplied by integrating Linde's cryogenic technology into Hydro-Chem's hydrogen plant concept. Alternatively, the membrane technology can be applied for carbon monoxide purification if the purity requirements are less stringent.
