(Blue Bell, PA) May 12, 2006 - Selas Fluid Processing will provide eight submerged combustion LNG vaporizers as part of a new LNG import terminal project in New Brunswick, Canada - the first regasification terminal of it's kind to be constructed in Canada.
According to Frank Maupay, Product Manager for LNG Vaporizers at Selas Fluid, the terminal is scheduled to begin operations in late 2008. Upon commissioning, the terminal will have a send-out capacity of 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day with a peak capacity of 1.2 billion cubic per day.
